Bookings

Facilities
Main Hall 39 x 28 ft capable of seating 80.
Kitchen Able to serve both the Main Hal I and the Club Room Equipped with basic catering facilities, crockery etc for about 80.
Bar Available through the Social Club via the Bookings Secretary.
The Main Hall and kitchen can be hired for £20 per hour or £100 for a Friday or Saturday evening session.
Disco lighting plus CD deck can be hired for £10 per hour.

Booking the Centre

Applications to book the Community Centre must be made on the booking form, after telephone confirmation of its availability to:

Robert Hall, Bookings Secretary Tel 01235 522670 (evenings / weekends) (Answer-phone may be in operation), or email Robert with details.

A returnable holding fee must accompany each application as follows: £100 for bookings with the bar and/or disco equipment, £30 for children’s or christening parties and £50 for 12-17yr old parties (adult supervision required).

The full hire charge must be paid, at the latest, one week in advance, this is in addition to the holding fee above. You can download a booking form by clicking the latter link and the booking conditions for your retention.

ALL CHEQUES WILL BE BANKED ON RECEIPT.

Keys can be collected from Peachcroft Social Club during opening hours and returned immediately after the event.

NEACA reserve the right to retain all or part of the holding fee following an inspection of the premises after the event.  The holding fee or any amount thereof wiII be refunded 48 hours after the function at the earliest.  NEACA reserve the right in refuse any application for booking without explanation.

Each hirer is expected to make their own arrangements for first aid (although a first aid kit is available behind the bar during bar opening times) and to ensure that their guests/users are familiar with any fire protection/escape arrangements.

NEACA holds only general insurance.  Each hirer is expected to have their own specific insurance and to indemnify NEACA for any occurrence or series of occurrences arising from any activity carried out on the premises.

By order of the VaIe of White Horse District Council, the doors to the garden area must not be left open.  You risk your function being prematurely stopped if complaints are received from neighbours that this ruling is being breached.

Please refer to the calendar below for available slots and please note that until you have confirmed a booking, your slot will not appear reserved here. Although not reflected below, the hall is wholly reserved for Pre-school in term time in the daytime, weekdays.
